A kitchen or farm day is not a custom restaurant app. Hosts will try. They need time. Put allergies, no-alcohol, vegetarian, or “I faint if I skip lunch” in the first why.
Be precise
“I cannot have peanuts” is useful. “I eat clean” is not. “No garlic” on an Indian listing is a real constraint — say it early so they can decline if the menu cannot move.
Do not
Turn the night into a tasting of your protocol. Do not arrive with a cooler of meals unless they agreed. Do not scold other guests’ plates.
If the listing cannot hold you
A no is safer than an ER. Thank them and pick another card. There will be a host whose food matches your body.
Write the constraint once, clearly, then talk about why you want this room. Start on experiences.
