Who pays whom
Money is on the card before you apply.
The host chooses the model. Seekers see the actual amount in the app when they apply — never as a shop window on the web. Payment stays on someday.living. No cash on the day, no chat-app transfers.
Host fee
A hotel, studio, club or farm opens its doors and you pay for the day — like a class, but real. The amount is in the app.
Hotel desk · DJ hour · Pottery studio
Nobody pays
The host wants the company or the story. You bring the Saturday. No hold on your account.
Professional kitchen · Teach a morning
Fee to the cause
NGOs, collectives and community kitchens. Your contribution funds their work; you get the day. The amount is in the app.
A Sunday with a farm collective
The host thanks you
A small thank-you after the day. A gesture, not a wage — and never the point. The amount is in the app.
A bartender evening · a wedding assist
How you pay
Charged only when the host says yes.
Apply free. If the experience has a fee or contribution, we authorise it when you apply and capture it when you are accepted. If you are not chosen, the hold drops.

Methods
UPI, cards, net banking. Payouts to the host.
All seeker payments go through Razorpay in the app. We never collect card numbers, CVV or UPI PINs on this website or in chat.
UPI, Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, and net banking on Razorpay. Saved methods stay in the Seeker app.
Fees and contributions settle to the host's verified bank account after the experience, minus the platform fee shown when they publish.
After the host marks the day complete. Usually the next working day to the UPI or account on your seeker profile.
A receipt for every captured payment. Where GST applies, it is shown on the experience before you apply.
If someone asks you to pay on WhatsApp, GPay to a personal number, or cash at the door — report it. That is not someday.living.
